I’m in complete agreement with whoever said you should never trust a person that doesn’t like chocolate! I may even take that up a notch by saying I won’t trust a person unless they LOVE chocolate!
I am a lover of all things chocolate!!! Chocolate is definitely a part of my everyday life. I make sure to set aside some macros for it so that I can have it in at least 1 meal per day…ok, ok, not gonna lie…I might just set aside enough so I can have chocolate included in all of my meals 😉
Mug cakes are hands down, one of the easiest and quickest ways to get my chocolate fix in throughout the day! I also don’t get that guilty feeling after eating it because its 100% ALL Natural and good for ya! This Triple Chocolate Mug Cake is packed with protein, low in carbs, and last but definitely not least, the incredible taste of oozing chocolatey goodness in every single bite!
- 1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder (I use About Time because it’s 100% all natural)
- 1 TBS Raw Cacao Powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
- 1/2 TBS Coconut Flour (or Almond Meal/Flour)
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Liquid Chocolate Stevia (to taste)
- 1/4 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1/2 TBS Enjoy Life Semi Sweet Mini Chocolate Chips (or regular chocolate chips)
- 1 TBS Enjoy Life Semi Sweet Mini Chocolate Chips (or regular chocolate chips)
- 1 TBS Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
First mix together chocolate sauce ingredients in a microwaveable safe ramekin, place in microwave for about 30 seconds, stir until smooth. Set aside.
Mix all mug cake dry ingredients in a microwaveable safe mug. Pour liquid ingredients into mug with dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Microwave for 25-40 seconds. (Consistency of cake will change depending on microwave strength and mug being used. I suggest starting with 25 seconds and checking every 5 seconds after. I like mine to be a “cakey” but full of oozing chocolate in the middle. Once you’ve overcooked it, there’s no going back, so keep a good eye on it!).
Top with chocolate sauce and serve!
