It’s the start to a brand new week! Take control of your
thoughts and mind to have a positive outlook for a great week ahead!
I noticed that I was pretty tired last week and by Friday, I
was just down right exhausted. I know it’s because I wasn’t getting the 7-8
hours of sleep that my body needed! It feels great when you meet all your
workout goals for the week, but don’t forget that your body needs rest and a
solid night’s sleep for your mind to function properly, repair muscle tissue,
and get energy for your workouts. I don’t know about you, but when I’m tired, I get cranky, I
can’t think straight, and it’s a lot easier for me to breakdown and give into

yesterday and finished in 47:01/7:34 per min. It was the fastest I have ever
run before in any race! It was challenging for both my mind and body, but at
the end of the race, it was all worth it! I brought home a new 10K PR and know
it made me that much stronger and faster for future races!

The rest of my day was a perfect day for recovery too!
Nothing better than iced knees, a badass Beyonce halftime show and watching the
pros battle it out in the Superbowl! Well, let me correct myself…If the Packers were in the Superbowl, that would be better 😉
